MainStage Production Manual: Student Responsibilities

Memo of Understanding
Every student working on a production shall read, sign and abide by a Memo of Understanding. This Memo (the text of which follows in the Appendix) spells out the dates during which the student is obligated to work on the production in question, the pertinent deadlines for Designers, and a reminder of the minimum 2.5/3.0 GPA requirement.

If a student actor (graduate or undergraduate) violates the Memo of Understanding applicable to a particular Mainstage show, that student will not be eligible to be cast in Mainstage shows for the remainder of the semester in which the show was scheduled, and in Mainstage shows during the following semester.

No student working on any Mainstage production in any capacity shall allow any conflict in the fourteen days prior to, and including, the opening performance of that production. This means no other productions or outside jobs - theatrical in nature or not - may interrupt your ability to attend all technical rehearsals and performances in their entirety. The Director or faculty Director must approve advance or emergency exceptions in writing.
